Based in the Heart of Ireland, New Departures Media is headed up by Executive Producer/Director, Evan Chamberlain who has been producing and directing high-end television programmes for over 20 years for Irish and International markets. Specialising in the creation of factual-entertainment formats, travel and documentary, the newly branded media company has its own in-house studio directors and off/on-line editors as well as a highly creative team of producers and researchers therefore allowing the team to take the initial programme on the entire journey from concept and creation to broadcast.
A former primary school teacher, Evan is a fluent bilingual speaker (Gaelic & English) with a great knowledge of the geographical layout of Ireland and indeed of the 101 countries he has visited worldwide. He has a sense of responsibility in what he makes and a great love for the past and the stories that must be told before it’s too late.
