We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Accounts Administrator who will be working from our company offices.   This is a part time position, 18 - 24 hour week, initially to cover a nine month maternity leave.  This position has the prospect of leading to a permanent job sharing position for the right candidate.

Role:

Purchase Ledger - all aspects of Purchase Ledger including validation and processing of invoices, dealing with all Purchase Ledger queries, reconciliation of creditors statement and maintenance of plant hire records

Cash Book – Cash book journals and bank reconciliations

Other Accounting – Update and input of recurring journals, prepare staff expense claims, set up sub-contractor accounts, petty cash

Administration – Answering incoming calls and dealing with queries, filing, stationery orders, website updates and other ad-hoc work

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role is required.

  • Accounting Technician diploma or similar would be an advantage

  • Good computer skills including a good working knowledge of Excel and Word

  • Accuracy, numeracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to work as part of a team and self motivated

  • Professional and positive attitude

  • Reliable and flexible

Terms:

Salary:                 Negotiable depending on experience

Hours:                 18 - 24 hours per week

Start date:         June - Beginning July
