Job Description

The ideal candidate will be a hands on and a highly motivated individual who will be responsible for the organisation of our Stores, goods in & out and deliveries. This Role is critical to our project teams for the effective operational co-ordination and manufacturing support of our robotic systems.

 

  • Responsible for receiving and inspecting deliveries and ensuring that safe unloading procedures are followed
  • Managing goods inward/outward activities, carrying out inspections and upkeep of records
  • Picking & Packing orders for dispatch.
  • Liaising with delivery & courier companies
  • Complying with H&S regulations, quality standards, procurement procedures, customs, and excise procedures.
  • Ensure the warehouse areas are well maintained so that materials can be easily located for delivery and retrieval.
  • Liaise with suppliers to coordinate deliveries and returns to meet project requirements.
  • Liaise with all departments on all matters relating to the deliveries and stores.
  • Record and check all incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quantities are correct and quality standards are maintained.
  • Ensure that deliveries are allocated to the correct project holding areas, manufacturing & documentation practices are followed at all times.
  • Buyer element –support purchasing department with sourcing and pricing competitiveness
  • Strong focus on health and safety
  • Assisting with setting up equipment.
  • Accomplishing ad hoc tasks based on the organisational demands

 

  • Must have a high level of technical ability, combined with good problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent Organisational, planning skills
  • Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in electrical, mechanical engineering an advantage

Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management

Excellent leadership skills and ability to communicate clearly

Proficient in Microsoft Office and data entry software

In date forklift license and manual handling certification

Full Driving licence
