Job Description

 

Bevcraft now require an Engineering Project Manager to support new and exciting innovation projects within the business. The role will include planning, commissioning, and optimising new equipment and processes and engaging with teams across the business.
The role will be based at the Bevcraft Group’s new National Beverage Innovation Centre currently under construction in Mullingar and will work closely with the COO and existing technical, project management and operations teams within the business.

The successful candidate will lead this project, in a supportive partnership with Southern Regional College and will also have the opportunity to avail of a post graduate diploma with Queen’s University Belfast as part of the employment offering.

The candidate will also be supported by existing technical knowledge in the Bevcraft Group, from it’s external technical partners and an on-site laboratory resource.

This exciting role will involve a diverse range of projects and ongoing responsibilities and for example will include researching, ordering, commissioning, project managing activities related to:

  • New equipment (such as pasteurisers, canning lines, automation projects etc).
  • Ongoing projects to improve equipment performance and quality outcomes.
  • Identify, source and commission ancillary equipment.
  • Processing beer through the equipment.
  • Processing beverages in non-standard can formats; non-beer alcoholic products (e.g. cider, RTDs); non-alcoholic products; ‘complex’ products (e.g. those requiring nitro dosing).
  • To codify / document new practices / SOPs to make innovation repeatable.
  • Cross over potential re ancillary processes including digital can printing.
  • Multi-disciplinary projects re floor plan / footprint changes.

Essential Criteria

  • 3rd Level Qualification in a Mechanical / Electrical / Engineering related discipline.
  • Legally permitted to work in ROI and able to travel to our sites across the UK / EU.

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in manufacturing / engineering / packaging.
  • Previous experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Practical approach to problem solving.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Logical and methodical.
