Kelbuild Ltd a highly reputable, long established and well-resourced Construction Company that has experience in the entire spectrum of Construction activity, with an exceptional record in client satisfaction and recognised Heritage Contractor; seeks a Junior Quantity Surveyor to operate from sites in the Midlands and Dublin region.

The candidate we are seeking to join our Company must be qualified or part qualified and be a dynamic Individual with good leadership skills that will help grow our existing Business by working alongside the Contract Manager. This is an excellent position which offers exposure to all aspects of Quantity Surveying and allows for future career progression.

 The main duties of the role will be as follows.

• Managing Subcontractor packages and agreement of final account
• Tender package analysis
• Review construction drawings and highlight any variations as the job progresses
• Analyse labour and plant allocated to each job
• Prepare detailed final account for Contract Manager to review
• Produce monthly cost reports to Head Office

Requirements

• 1-2 years+ Post-Graduate experience with a PQS, Contractor or Developer.
• Must have a Construction Management or Quantity Surveying qualification.
• An ability to achieve demanding time and quality targets.
• Good IT skills
• A willingness to attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
• To have strong analytical skills and ability to present findings.
• To be methodical, pay attention to detail and be accurate.
• Ability co-ordinate several different projects at the same time.
