Kilbeggan Community Group CLG wishes to recruit a full-time CE Assistant Supervisor for its Department of Social Protection funded Community Employment Scheme. The post is based in Kilbeggan.
The Assistant Supervisor will provide assistance to the Community Employment Supervisor in the efficient running of the CE Project. The duties will include preparing and implementing a training programme for participants; assisting in the preparation of financial returns i.e. wages, accounts, materials and Participant Development Grant Claims.
Strong Information Technology and administration skills are essential. The selected candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, be highly motivated and have the ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team. Previous experience in supporting unemployed individuals to secure employment is an advantage.
Assistant supervisor must have previous office management/supervisory experience, excellent administrative skills, be able to work as part of a team, have knowledge of community activities and have good communication and inter-personal skills. Internet and Social Media Skills would be an advantage also.
Employment references will be sought from a successful applicant who is under consideration for appointment and the candidate must be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
A current full clean driving licence and own transport is a requirement for this position.
Hours of work: Full Time, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
