Job Title

We have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Manager (Generalist) with responsibility for the implementation of the HR Plan and the day to day delivery of operational HR.

  • Ability to implement and execute the HR plan and systems, collaborating with Sites Senior Management to determine performance metrics and insights.

Role Profile – key aspects

  • Daily provision of general professional HR services to employees and managers.
  • Staff recruitment and selection to meet the needs of the business
  • Supports weekly and monthly payroll including reconciling time records with managers.
  • Supports personnel remuneration changes including pre and post probation period changes.
  • Manage the Time Management system, working closely with the IS/IT Team to ensure accurate data capture and resolution of any discrepancies.
  • With guidance, interprets and communicates company policies and ensures legal compliance.
  • Continuous reviewing, updating and roll out of Company employment Handbook and policies across Sites, ensuring adherence to statutory updates and standardisation.
  • Collaborate with managers to maintain confidential employee records and support the annual performance review processes.
  • Advice and counsel on HR matters to improve individual, team and management effectiveness.
  • Supports the recruitment process including standardisation of job specifications, coaching hiring managers and managing the recruitment platforms.
  • Roll out of consistent onboarding/exit processes.
  • Actively promote Talent retention and acquisition strategies.
  • Helps develop, modify and deliver training and engagement programs.

  • 3 plus years relevant experience within a manufacturing, FMCG or similar
  • TMS or similar time and attendance system
  • MS Office
  • Human Resources related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of employment law and ability to apply practical solutions within the confines of employment law compliance.
