Job Description

The Four Star Lakeside Bloomfield House Hotel is currently recruiting for the following position: Pastry Chef (1 Position)

As Pastry Chef at Bloomfield House Hotel you will need to work as part of the communicate openly and effectively; and take pride in every aspect of what you produce to ensure the delivery of a high quality guest experience. The successful candidate must be able to contribute to new menu's and different styles of modern pastry. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality  
  • Managing and training any Demi-Chef de Parties or Commis working with you
  • Helping the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus
  • Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety 
  • Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins

Requirements: 

  • 3 Years Experience in similar role
  • A passion for cooking
  • HACCP Certified
  • Fluency in English Language

This position is based on a 39-hour week with Annual Remuneration of €30,000
