Our client is a large Nursing Home in the Midlands. They now seek applications for the position of Director of Nursing.
The Director of Nursing role is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the Nursing Home including high standard care provision in accordance with best practice and within available resources and HR management of a team of clinical and non-clinical employees within all departments.
Job Role Requirements:
• Third Level Degree in Nursing.
• Registered with NMBI
• Post registration qualification in healthcare management or equivalent is essential.
• Post registration qualification in Gerontology or Dementia Care is desirable.
Minimum five years' previous work experience in a management capacity within a Health setting is essential.
Minimum three years' experience in the area of nursing of older people within the last six years.
Minimum five years' post-registration nursing experience.
Proven clinical competence and passionate about delivering outstanding care to older people.
Detailed knowledge of HIQA standards, regulations and the 'Health Act 2007'
People management skills with a passion for achieving results.
This position carries an attractive remuneration package based on relevant work experience commensurate with the advertised role. Salary in the range €70,000 to €80,000.
