Survey Technician (No previous experience required)

IDASO is a data collection company who use the latest technologies to gather information on traffic patterns to be used by transport planners, consulting engineers and local authorities. As part of our current expansion plan we are hiring drivers to install survey equipment. No previous experience required as all training will be provided.

Summary of Position

The role involves navigating around Ireland and sometimes the UK in a company vehicle. You would be learning to install various pieces of the latest technology and equipment to monitor the movements of traffic flows and pedestrians alongside our experienced data capture team. The role requires evening and night work therefore experience in this type of working is highly desired.

Good communication skills, enthusiasm for high quality and an interest in outdoor work is essential for this type of role.

Position Requirements

• Working evenings and nights
• Where necessary deal with clients and the public in a sensitive and professional manner
• Have a good attention to detail and be able to understand and follow company procedures
• Have a good driving record and possess a full Irish Driving Licence
• Be a safe driver and very aware of other road users
• Be able to work alone and unsupervised or as part of a team
