Project Engineers

We are internationally approved to Design, Manufacture, Install, Service & Commission to all standards & have experience in Fire Sprinkler Protection, Foam enhanced Fire Protection, Gas Protection, Firewater Mist Protection, Insert Gas Protection & Special Hazard Fire Protection.
It is a very exciting time to join the Writech Group. With the construction of our Design & Innovation Centre, at our HQ offices in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath completed, we have a number of opportunities for Project Engineers to join our growing Projects team.
Job Description:
This role will work to design fire protection sprinkler systems for our high-profile client base. This is a very busy environment and perfect for a person requiring a challenge and who is willing to learn.
Ideal Candidate:
· Dedicated and hardworking.
· Enjoys being organised and accurate.
· Enjoys a busy environment.
· Enjoys working on his/her own initiative. Fluent in English is a requirement for this role.
· Previous experience in a similar role highly desirable.
Duties
· Work closely with the Operations and Installation teams to communicate, problem solve and update drawings for all co-ordination and design issues.
· Liaise with customers on site to arrange services and extra works.
· Planning project programs / scheduling.
· Ordering of parts.
· Liaise with client and Design team for Electrical and Mechanical installation work.
· Incorporating suppliers’ models to ensure model coordination can be conducted accurately.
· Ensure that standards are adhered to and that drawings produced are of highest quality, all in accordance with Q.A. procedures.
· Creating Hydraulic Calculations using industry approved software.
· Planning project programs / scheduling.
· Preparing submittals.
· Creating O&M Manuals.
