Youth Work Ireland Midlands wish to recruit a qualified, experienced Youth Worker to support the existing team in Mullingar Youth Project. Delivering on the work plan agreed with LWETB and funded by the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Inclusion and Youth under the UBU Your Place Your Space funding scheme.
Mirroring the overarching goals of UBU – Your Space Your Place, our youth projects “provide young person-centred, community-based and out-of-school youth services to young people in need of support” and “ensure that each layer of the governance structure adds value to the direct work with young people”.

The hours of work reflect the out-of-school requirements of the programme and will primarily be evenings, weekends and times when young people are available, including public holidays.
Delivery will be blended between online, outreach and in person youth work.
