Jungheinrich Lift Truck Ltd is the leading material handling solutions provider in Ireland specialising in complete warehouse design, construction, and project management. We are a supplier of over 600 different types of German manufactured forklifts in Ireland. We provide a total solution offering including purchase, leasing and aftersales services to a myriad of complex needs.

We now have a unique opportunity for an experienced After Sales Area Service Manager to join our team.

Operating out of Munster, the successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all service activities in the southern area to include the following:

  • Management of a team of engineers in the South of Ireland.
  • Management of the Service Schedules ensuring that all service Maintenances are carried out on time.
  • Oversee the quoting of projects for the larger sites.
  • Ensuring all service audits are completed and passed and that all KPI’S are met.
  • Adhering to all processes and procedures to meet with targets.
  • Account Management including the monitoring of full-service costs to insure the profitability of the accounts.
  • To ensure regular communication with customers, finance department and senior Jungheinrich management team.
  • Liaising with the technical department within Jungheinrich to ensure site engineers receive technical support as required.
  • To provide team leadership and direction including carrying out regular reviews and assessments with engineers.

We are looking for someone with excellent initiative, drive, and dedication, with an appetite to grow and develop both commercially and operationally.

To be considered for this role you must have –

  • Minimum 5 Years previous experience of working within a similar role in a related field.
  • Minimum of Degree/Diploma FETAC Level 7/8 in engineering or similar discipline.
  • Excellent computer skills to include proficiency in all Microsoft Applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team, as well as excellent team worker.
  • Excellent customer service skills with an ability to multitask and solve complex operational issues
  • Full clean driving licence.

Individuals with knowledge of SAP ERP will have a distinct advantage.
