Coffee Shop Manager

The Role

We are looking for a manager for one of our clients in Celbridge, Co. Kildare. Preferably someone who has experience with managing a team previously and good wine knowledge, and coffee. The Coffee shop manager must oversee the general running of the shop, staff, and the coffee quality and constantly strive to improve the in-store experience. Looking for someone who could be an inspiring leader, a hands-on, front-line professional who leads by example. Will a positive, self-motivated, problem solving attitude and of course with a passion for coffee and wine.

This is a great role for someone who has already demonstrated a high level of skill and performance in coffee and hospitality and wants to help nurture others to do the same.

Competencies Required

• You will have a proven track record in a managerial position in the hospitality industry.
• Must have previous experience in leading a team.
• You will have a comprehensive and practical knowledge of advanced coffee brewing techniques.
• You will be passionate about coffee and customer service and have an awareness and interest in the latest trends.
• You will have a comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety and Food Standards.
• You will be a self-motivated, problem-solver, results-driven, people-person.
• You will be a great teacher, communicator and team builder.
• High level of energy, enthusiasm, flexibility and patience.
• You must have an understanding and appreciation for the small details, be well-organised and flourish under pressure.
• Must be computer literate and feel very comfortable dealing with and understanding numbers, waste management, forecasting and order placing, roster making.
• Ability to work in a team setting where a high degree of daily communication is required.

If you are available full time or part time we would have hours available for you. Work days could be adjusted.

Most shifts would be Thursday - Saturday/ Sunday.
