Job Description

The Writech Group is an internationally recognised leader in Fire Protection Systems. We are internationally approved to Design, Manufacture, Install, Service & Commission to all standards & have experience in Fire Sprinkler Protection, Foam enhanced Fire Protection, Gas Protection, Firewater Mist Protection, Insert Gas Protection & Special Hazard Fire Protection.
We are currently looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our growing Design team. This role will work to design fire protection sprinkler systems for our high-profile client base. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate who is interested in building a career in the Fire Protection Industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside senior engineers to produce CAD drawings for Electrical and Mechanical installation work
  • Assist in the production of hydraulic calculations using industry approved software
  • Assist in planning project programs / scheduling
  • Assist in preparing submittals
  • Ordering parts
  • Participate in other design and engineering related tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Relevant third level qualification (eg: Engineering discipline) or equivalent experience as a graduate design engineer on Mechanical/Electrical projects
  • ACAD experience (or similar relevant experience)
  • Revit experience (or similar relevant experience)
  • Must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Mullingar Business Park, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath N91: or plan to relocate before starting work
  • Fluent English
