Commercial & Contracts Manager - Carlow

Ardale Recruitment have been retained by a leading construction group to recruit an experienced Contracts Manager with a commercial aptitude and join their senior management team in Carlow. You will ideally come from a commercial background in construction although other disciplines will also be considered.

• Assist in winning new projects/contracts by attending pre-bid meetings; identify scope, schedule, and budget; actively participate in preparation of proposals; lead client interviews and presentations as needed.
• Work closely with engineering (design and manufacturing), procurement and the commercial teams to establish project scope and targeted outcomes 
• Develop project execution plans including definition of scope, schedule, communication, delivery, and handover aspects of projects.
• Maintain project resource plans and schedules.
• Creating and managing budgets – both Operational & Project Specific
• Properly identify and assess project risks, reporting on the Operational & Project status on a weekly basis.
• Become a key client relationship manager, building on existing business relationships and establishing new ones 
• Engage and manage consultants and  Sub Contractors as required.

This is a senior role within this business unit and therefore requires a driven and highly professional individual with scope to enhance the role as the business expands.
