Contracts Manager Maintenance Engineering

Currently recruiting for an experienced manager for a mechanical & electrical maintenance engineering services business. The position will be based in West Dublin and will suit someone coming from Mechanical or Electrical Engineering contracting and maintenance background. It will include small capital works projects and be a client facing role with the primary goal of developing the engineering services maintenance business.

• The successful candidate will manage new work bids and manage existing client relationships.
• They will work with the existing maintenance management team to improve business performance.
• They should have a strong commercial skillset and will be an integral part of our business strategy and development team directing our growth.
• The role requires strong bid management skills and the ability to own a bid lifecycle from start to finish.

The role would suit a committed, driven individual with an engineering / sales experience looking to develop & progress in a management career. This position requires strong communication skills, be this face to face or remotely along with an attention to detail and the flexibility to suit client requirements.

Requirements

B.S in Engineering, Science or business discipline required or a related masters degree.

3 to 5 Years leadership experience or substantial engineering support or project management experience in a team based environment is required.

Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing and presentation skills essential.

Individual must possess strong leadership skills, proven ability to coach and mentor individuals in technical skills and people development areas. The individual should enjoy working in a dynamic and results driven team based environment with flexibility essential.

Leadership, project management and engineering experience preferred.
