PART TIME / FULL TIME ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – 20- 39 HOURS PER WEEK

KCS has been awarded numerous licences and distributes different brands across their core business model.   KCS have also been awarded a licence by the GAA and the LGFA to manufacture official playing kits for clubs worldwide.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Clerk to assist the Accounts Manager and perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and financial tasks.   The successful person will be responsible for keeping financial records updated, assisting in accounts payable and receivable, preparing reports and reconciling bank statements and petty cash.  Assisting in the preparation and payment of expenses and invoices, bi monthly VAT returns and annual tax returns.  They will also run the Sage accounting software program to process business transactions, like accounts payable, receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers and receipts.   

THE SKILLS REQUIRED

The successful person will have an ATI Diploma or equivalent, excellent accounting and strong numerical skills.   They will have experience and a thorough working knowledge of all elements of MS Office particularly Word, Excel and Excel formulas.  They must also have a thorough working knowledge of the Sage accounting package together with experience of accounts reconciliations.

In addition they will have excellent communication skills and be a good team player.    They must have the ability to motivate, organise their day with a proven ability to prioritise and multi-task together with an excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail.
