Data & Reporting Analyst

About The Role

IDASO (Innovative Data Solutions) has an exciting opportunity for a talented individual with excellent data interpretation/ analysis skills and an interest in civil engineering and technology. The successful applicant will join our industry leading team responsible for providing traffic and transport data empowering decision makers to solve mobility and transport challenges.

Key Duties / Responsibilities

The role will involve a number of different aspects including;

• Delivering transport data reports to our clients within given timescales.
• Completing logic and validation checks on data to company standard operating procedures.
• Compiling reports and headline statistics on the data.
• Liaising with key stakeholders, including others within the project team and clients to ensure that reports are delivered to a high standard and delivered in a user friendly manner

Qualifications

• Science, maths or engineering based qualification or be able to demonstrate appropriate equivalent experience. Degree level or equivalent experience

Skills & Experience

Essential

• A natural affinity to numbers and calculations.
• Experience with using data analysis and reporting tools/methods.
• Polished report writing skills and ability to confidently present issues and observations with data
• Attention to detail to be able to identify and investigate anomalies in data sets.
• Be comfortable using Microsoft software packages with a competent level of Excel knowledge.

Desirable

• Experience in accreditation and/or Quality Assurance processes
• Database experience and software development experience
• Knowledge and experience with reporting, statistical models and data analytics
