Assistant Fieldwork Manager

Primarily responsible  to assist in the smooth running of the Irish Fieldwork Office, including management of the survey team and co-ordination of data collection exercises. It will be your responsibility to assist in the assessment of project requirements, allocation of resources and scheduling of fieldwork tasks, confirm requirements with the business development team and clients where required, to secure necessary permissions when needed for installing equipment.

You will report to the Operations Manager, whom you will  liaise with to ensure the safe and smooth running of data collection function.

• Take a systematic approach to developing project plans, identifying compliance requirements, defining roles and responsibilities, equipment and schedules
• Coordinate with the Operations Manager to implement projects in line with agreed standard operating procedures including the co-ordination of stakeholders, technicians and handover procedures
• Assist in the training of staff, the research of new equipment, the drafting of manuals and standard operating procedures
• Ensure the safe and efficient implementation of projects
• Ensure project stakeholders are informed through regular, appropriate communication
• Coordinate, manage and maintain fieldwork equipment including company vehicles, ensuring that equipment is in good order, legally compliant and appropriately stocked
