Job Description

General Office Administrator

Kelly’s Nursery Ltd is a wholesale plant nursery who are currently recruiting an Office Administrator for 11-month maternity cover with potential to full time for the right candidate. We are based in Streamstown Mullingar.

Hours 8.30 – 5.00 Monday – Friday.

The Suitable candidate must have:

  • Good documentation and general communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • High levels of flexibility and a willingness to learn and develop.
  • Positive attitude, pro-active and ability to prioritise workload as required.
  • Ability to work well in a team with a strong work ethic.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).

Duties will include:

  • Mapping the most efficient delivery route for each truck.
  • Processing all customer orders on our WinTree system.
  • Processing payments from customers & ensuring credit terms are adhered too along with our accounts Admin.
  • Supporting the team with all administrative tasks.
  • Resolving customer's queries, complaints, and disputes.
  • General office duties including filing, emailing, answering calls, invoicing, delivery docket etc.
  • Dealing with customers both in person and over the phone.
  • Checking stock availability.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an admin role.
  • Must have excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prioritise, multitask and work under pressure.
  • Excellent organisational skills and telephone manner.

Salary:  Negotiable depending on experience.

Start Date: November or earlier if available.
