Job Title and Grade: Health Care Assistant

Reporting Relationship: Directly to the CNM or Staff Nurse on duty.

Purpose of the Post: Elevate the standard of care, ensuring our Residents' dignity and privacy.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Enrich the lives of Residents with ADLS support: feeding, bathing, walking, dressing, and toileting.
  • Champion high-quality care.
  • Fulfill holistic and spiritual needs.

Eligibility Criteria:

Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge

Qualifications (Essential):

  • FETAC Level 5 – Health Care Assistant

Experience (Essential):

  • Prior experience with older individuals

Essential Skills, Competencies, and Professional Knowledge:

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of elderly care.
  • Proven track record in caring for the elderly.

Core Aptitudes:

  • Be an exemplary role model.
  • Embrace a compassionate nature, attuned to Residents' needs.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
