Job Description

Overview

Responsible for supporting automated and robotic production equipment in our plant and will also support research and development activities. These are hands-on roles that require an individual with strong mechanical engineering intuitiion and the ability to troubleshoot, maintain and repair high tech heavy production equipment.

Opportunities

  • Develop skills in Maintaining and troubleshooting the automated and robotic production equipment in the plant
  • Apply knowledge to and enhance implement preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and increase equipment availability
  • To develop and implement equipment mechanical upgrades to improve productivity and quality
  • Collaborate with the R&D team to develop cutting edge production techniques
  • To work closely with experienced production professionals in optimising the manufacturing process

Requirements:

  • Current or graduating Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Strong interest in mechanical engineering, automation and robotics in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with programming and troubleshooting PLCs and other control systems
  • Strong interest in mechanical design and manufacturing processes
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
