Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with specific experience in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Monitor and control costs associated with automotive manufacturing processes, conducting cost analysis and recommending cost-saving strategies where necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of automotive parts and inventory, performing regular reconciliations and addressing any discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts
• Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
• Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the automotive sector
• Collaborate with external auditors during annual financial audits
• Manage financial transactions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant experience.
• Proven experience as an accountant, with at least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of automotive accounting principles, including cost accounting and inventory management.
• Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and tax compliance.
