Multi-Skilled Operative

Logos' team of multi-skilled operatives work collaboratively to design and construct bespoke crates and provide specialist onsite packing, tailored to customer need and the specific requirements of the equipment. Multi skilled operatives are based at Logos' manufacturing facility in Athlone and travel to customer sites to pack/crate when required. Whether you’re experienced in this industry or just starting out, success in this role is characterised by the ability to stay motivated while maintaining a high degree of focus and attention to detail. Multi skilled operatives work at a fast pace ensuring production goals are met and prioritise safety to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and those around them. This role requires the physical capability to use industrial saws, power tools and the day-to-day demands of manufacturing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Read and interpret cutting sheet specifications
• Cut timber using industrial woodworking machinery
• Assemble product using hand and power tools
• Perform quality control checks to ensure quality standards
• Follow packing specifications to ensure all products are packed to agreed standards
• Adhere to all healthy and safety policies and procedures
  
  

Must have:
- Driver's Licence

Desirable:
- Safe Pass
- Forklift/Electric pallet truck licence
- Previous woodworking/Pallet/crate making experience
- Export packing experience
- Rigging/Cleanroom experience
- Other industry relevant qualifications

Job Type: Temporary/Part-time & Full-time positions available

Salary: €15.00-€19 per hour
