Applications are invited for the position of Laboratory Technician in Gannon Eco limited , to work in their plant in Kilbeggan.
Duties will include:
-regular communication with line manager
-block testing and tracking
-Implementation/Operating of quality control procedures for concrete products including moisture content, cube testing, slump, etc
-Daily and monthly quality control checks to fulfil quality certificates and product compliance
-Annual audit for quality of produce (block certification)
-Certification of aggregates
-Research and development in relation to re-use of materials
-Testing and ensuring the quality of raw materials
-sample testing, collection & preparation (grinding, sieving etc)
-keeping the laboratories clean and tidy & keeping lab equipment in calibration,
-reporting results. Compiling reports and presenting results to management.
Work will include indoor and outdoor tasks and will require periodic moderate to heavy lifting.
