Job Description

Job Overview:

The successful candidate is to maximise sales by meeting the needs of the customer. The candidate should ideally have a flair for design, provide outstanding customer service and create a great shopping experience for the customer resulting in increased store sales and customer loyalty.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • To maximise sales and profitability by achieving outstanding sales results.
  • Be passionate and have an understanding of our products
  • Approach customers with a friendly approach and assist their needs and advise them on the best solutions in order to up sell.
  • Understand and execute action plans and support the goals and targets set out by your manager
  • Build a relationship of trust by asking the right questions to understand the customer’s home furnishing needs.

Expectations:

  • Sales Background - You have a strong background in sales with a proactive and dynamic sales approach.
  • Listening & Communicator - Ability to communicate & listen effectively and clearly both with customers and within the team
  • Goal Orientated & Motivated - You are highly motivated to perform and strive for excellence and have a hunger to meet targets set out by the manager.
  • Team Driven - Ability to work with team and independently. You can work towards goals without constant supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in furniture retail sales in a commission-driven environment.
  • The ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule which includes weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays is required.
  • The desire to succeed in a sales driven environment is key.

Experience:

  • Bedding & Furniture Sales: 3 years (Preferred but not required)
  • Interior Design (Preferred)
  • Customer service: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Retail: 3 years (Preferred)
