This position is suitable for an experienced developer who is looking to work on both client projects and the next generation of cloud/SaaS applications.

This position is full time and based at our Athlone Offices.

This is NOT a remote position, however there is the possibility to discuss a hybrid role after 12 months.

Role Requirements

  • Must have a genuine interest in Web and Cloud based software development.
  • Must be eligible to work in Ireland currently.
  • Related 3rd Level Qualification or Equivalent Experience.
  • Strong HTML5 & CSS Experience (2 years minimum).
  • PHP Development Experience (1 year minimum).
  • Experience with a PHP Framework such as CakePHP, CodeIgniter, Symfony or Laravel.
  • Familiarity with Software Version Control such as Git or Subversion.
  • Familiarity with MySQL/MariaDB.
  • Familiarity with HTTP Request Cycle, REST API’s and JSON.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

The Role

The successful candidate will work on both client project and internal applications and tools including our Streamline Cloud Platform and our next generate of cloud/SaaS services leveraging technologies such as:-

  • PHP, JavaScript, Bash.
  • HTML5, CSS3, Vue.js, HTMX
  • Git.
  • Linux.
  • MySQL/MariaDB and Galera clustering.
  • Redis.
  • S3 and S3 Compatible Storage.
  • Internal Frameworks and external such as Laravel or Symfony.
  • DevOps and CI/CD.
