We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and experienced HR professional to join our support team. This role is crucial in ensuring that our HR operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall success and growth of our company.


Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Support the implementation of the Organisations People Strategy to foster engagement, professional development, open communication, employee wellbeing and maintaining a positive workplace culture.

·         Partner with the business to ensure a great employee experience through a robust HR service throughout the employee life cycle, covering Talent Attraction, Onboarding, Diversity and Inclusion, Total Rewards, Talent Management, Employee Wellbeing and open Communication.

·         Managing the HR information system to enable accurate and up-to-date management information on all people data and action-based reporting.

·         Act as a Well Being ambassador across the organisation and proactively lead in supporting the development of our workplace culture.

·         Lead culture initiatives that promote and recognise our company values

·         Prepare Employment Contracts and manage the onboarding process for new employees and all associated administration.

·         Develop and lead HR projects, initiatives and programmes

·         Develop strong relationships with the management team to become a trusted advisor on all people related topics and HR related issues.

·         Support internal communications initiatives and wider employee engagement activities

·         Evaluate and improve existing HR practices by tracking industry best practices, ensuring continuous improvement.

·         Work closely with Managers to review and monitor employee’s probation process.



·         To uphold the values and associated behaviours of the organisation.

·         You have authority to stop a job if you feel there is an unsafe work practice which could result in a risk of injury, have an environmental impact or risk to equipment and other personnel.

·         To carry out your duties to meet Quality, Safety and Environmental requirements at all times.




·         2-3 years relevant experience in a similar role.

·         Degree in HR or other related subject, CIPD qualified desirable.

·         Previous experience with a construction or engineering company would be advantageous.

·         Excellent Technology, Systems, Data analysis and Social media experience.  

·         Enthusiastic and ambitious with a strong work ethic and flexible work attitude.

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·         Team player with ability to contribute both individually and as part of a team.

·         Efficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

·         Full clean license with own transport with ability to work flexibly across multiple locations.
