Job Description

IDASO (Innovative Data Solutions) specialises in providing traffic, transport and mobility data. We offer our data collections services and software solutions to clients worldwide from Maynooth to Malaysia.

Purpose:

  • Manage and work hands on with a team to develop professional proposals with accurate costings, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Navigate a networked role with a positive attitude, working efficiently under pressure and meeting demanding deadlines.
  • Maintain registrations with relevant authorities to receive RFQs and tender notifications, ensuring a customer-focused approach.
  • Complete and submit required documentation within specified timescales, showcasing reliability and dedication.
  • Foster excellent internal relationships with compassion, ensuring smooth information flow and maintaining good relations with key individuals.
  • Monitor and evaluate success rates and conversion metrics, continually striving for improvement.
  • Maintain an effective archive structure for past submissions, enriching the bid information library as a valuable resource.
  • Be approachable, flexible, and adaptable at all times, embodying a positive and proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the proposal process for multiple projects, ensuring timely submission for management review and approval, and maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Collaborate with a team to ensure all bid proposal documentation is complete and accurate, fostering teamwork and mutual respect.
  • Create and support the development of PowerPoint presentations as needed, demonstrating professionalism and dedication.
  • Efficiently handle technical, commercial, and contractual correspondence with suppliers/vendors, ensuring all interactions are conducted with compassion and integrity.
  • Research and write case studies for the organization, highlighting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Undertake ad-hoc projects as requested by senior management, showcasing a positive and adaptable attitude.
  • Provide support as reasonably requested by your manager, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a willingness to help.

Key Requirements:

Essential:

  • 5+ years' experience in a commercial administrative role, showing a strong work ethic and reliability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with professional report writing experience, reflecting a customer-focused approach.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration skills, fostering a compassionate and supportive work environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, focusing on meeting deadlines and completing tasks to a high standard.

Desirable:

  • 2+ years of experience in preparing and submitting commercial tenders, demonstrating a results-oriented mindset.
  • Strong relationship-building, account management, and consultative selling skills, reflecting a customer-first approach.
