Healthcare Assistant

AllPro Recruitment, on behalf of our public health sector client, have an immediate requirement for a Health Care Assistant in Carrick-on-Shannon, County Leitrim for continuity of care.

This is a full time role on a long term temporary basis with view to extend.

Duties:

• Assisting with care of patients in the hospital
• Personal care
• Showering
• Dressing
• Getting client ready for the day
• Assisting other members of the team where required

Requirements:

• Fluent written and spoken English
• Full QQI Level 5 (or above) major award in Healthcare (must include Care Skills, Care of the Elderly and communication modules)
• Previous caring experience
• Able to reliably commute
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Good communication skills
