Mergon Group currently has a vacancy for an entry-level Business Development Executive to join its Global Sales Team. This presents an exciting opportunity to learn from a seasoned Business-to-Business sales team and work with some of the world's most remarkable brands. 

  

Key responsibilities:

  • Development of Sales Opportunities: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across various markets, including new business with existing customers, supporting the Sales team in the acquisition of new customers, and exploration of new applications for our technology.
  • Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to gather insights, analyse trends, and identify opportunities for business growth and expansion.
  • Key Account Management: Support Key Account Manager in building and maintaining relationships with key customer accounts to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and maximize value delivery.
  • Competitive Analysis: Support in continuously assessing the company's competitive position in the market, identifying opportunities for improvement, and mitigating potential threats to maintain market leadership. 

 

Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
  • Commercial Awareness
  • Ability to analyse market trends and assess opportunities. 
  • Ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders and potential clients.
  • Excellent report writing and written communication skills. 
  • Results-oriented 
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build relationships based on trust
