About the Role
As an AC Service Engineer, you will be the key point of contact for our clients, delivering essential technical and engineering support across various sites. Your role will involve ensuring that all maintenance and repair work meets the highest standards, contributing to our reputation for excellence in service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
On-site engineering support: Attend sites as directed to provide technical assistance and carry out engineering duties, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Maintenance and repairs: Perform planned preventative maintenance, repairs, and commissioning of plant and equipment, ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
Reporting and documentation: Produce detailed weekly reports and timesheets to support effective business management and client invoicing.
24-hour call-out service: Participate in the regional duty rota, responding to reactive call-outs within 4 hours to provide timely support to our clients.
Risk assessments: Prepare on-site risk assessments to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Client value enhancement: Identify opportunities to offer additional or alternative services to clients and report these to your line manager.
Sales support: Contribute to local sales activities by submitting sales leads, enhancing the company's service offerings.
Mentoring: Oversee apprentices or trainees assigned to you, ensuring their development and well-being.
Candidate Profile
Trade qualified: Refrigeration Air Conditioning Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the A/C service industry.
Licensing and clearance: Full driving license (with a maximum of 6 points) and the ability to obtain necessary security clearances.
Technical expertise: Strong fault diagnosis skills in Close Control VRV, VRF, Chillers, and Splits.
IT proficiency: Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
Team player: Able to work independently and as part of a team, with good geographical knowledge of the area.
