Key Responsibilities

Proposal Development: Write, edit, and compile high-quality bids, proposals, and tender documents that align with client requirements and showcase our company's capabilities.

Content Creation: Develop clear, concise, and compelling content that effectively communicates our value proposition, ensuring each bid is tailored to the specific needs and expectations of the client.

Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, estimators, and other key stakeholders to gather the necessary information for bids, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Deadline Management: Manage the end-to-end bid process, ensuring all submissions are completed on time and to a high standard, while adhering to strict deadlines.

Market Analysis: Research and analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor offerings to develop strategies that enhance the competitiveness of our bids.

Quality Assurance: Review and proofread bid documents to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with client specifications and industry standards.

Database Management: Maintain and update a library of bid documents, templates, and case studies to streamline the bid-writing process and improve efficiency.

Post-Bid Review: Participate in post-bid debriefs to gather feedback and continuously improve the quality and success rate of future bids.

Candidate Profile

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.

Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Bid Writer, preferably within the construction industry or a similar sector.

Technical Skills: Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to produce clear, persuasive, and tailored content. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the construction industry, including an understanding of construction processes, terminology, and market dynamics.

Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail and accuracy in writing and proofreading, ensuring all bid documents are error-free and professional.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
