Festive Bar and Waiting Team Member (fixed-term)

Every year our villages fall under a captivating spell and transform into an enchanting Winter Wonderland. With twinkling lights, glittering decorations and Santa’s Woodland Workshop, the forest comes alive with the anticipation of Christmas.

FESTIVE BAR AND WAITING TEAM MEMBER | €12.90 Per Hour

All colleagues working in our full-service restaurants (Rajinda Pradesh, Huck’s, The Pancake House, Foresters’ Inn, Lakeside Inn, Bella Italia, Café Rouge, Las Iguanas and Amalfi) will benefit from the discretionary service charge we add to bills. The majority of guests are happy to reward our colleagues for their excellent service.

We are looking for a team of Festive Bar and Waiting Team Members who love the spirit of Christmas and will help deliver the magic to our guests. You will provide a professional service, ensuring the highest standards are maintained to give the best possible experience.

The role requires a high energy approach, and you may be required to wear an ‘Elf’ costume. Your duties will include welcoming guests, taking orders, food and drinks service, maintaining a clean working environment and spreading festive cheer.

HOURS OF WORK

Please note this is a fixed-term contract until December 2024.

We have various hours available per 4-week period on a flexible basis with a variety of shift patterns. Flexibility will be required as our village is open 365 days of the year, so you may need to be able to work some evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

ABOUT YOU

You will have a confident, kind and happy nature, along with plenty of enthusiasm. You will also be able to engage with and built a rapport with people of all ages.

Essential requirements:

• Excellent communication and customer care skills
• Naturally cheerful
• Ability to perform under pressure
• Being able to improvise - you never know what children might ask!

Desirable requirements:

• Previous experience of working with children
• Previous acting / entertainment experience
• Previous experience of working in a customer service environment, ideally within a Food and Beverage environment
• NVQ Level 2 in Food Service or equivalent qualification
