Warehouse Operative

On behalf of our client based in Churchtown we re recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Operative.

Main Duties Included:

• Receiving, moving, checking and storing incoming goods
• Pick orders from codes and input Po's into warehouse system via iPad or pc
• Using an electric pallet stacker and manual pallet truck
• Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and also acceptable quality
• Packaging and labelling products before they are dispatched
• Selecting space for storage and arranging for goods to be placed in the designated area
• Making sure that all inventory processes are completed on the same day
• Coaching new colleagues as required
• Raises safety issues and incidents
• Removing hazardous products from the warehouse.
• Signing off and replenishing stock
• Monitoring stock levels and order stock as required
• Participate in daily meetings

Requirements:

• Manual Handling
• Previous experience in a warehouse is essential
• Good computer skills
• Flexibility when it comes to working hours
