Production Operative

On behalf of our client based in County Offaly, we are now recruiting for a production operative for the moulding plant. As a moulding plant operative, you will work as part of the production team, inspecting and packing finished products from the various injection moulding machine lines.

Main Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inspection and packaging of all products from the various injection moulding machine lines
• Ensure the quality of the parts produced by inspecting parts visually.
• Packing boxes and placing on pallets in accordance with packing standards.
• Quality monitoring of products to the quality and specifications required, and the keeping of records required for the BRC and ISO quality systems
• Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment or materials to direct supervisor.
• Comply with the Company’s Health & Safety and Quality Policies and Food Safety controls.
• Work as part of a team to ensure the quality of work is of a high standard and carried out in anefficient and timely manner to meet production targets.
• Maintain accuracy of quality documentation at all times.
• General housekeeping and cleaning to ensure the plant is operated in a clean and safe manner.
• Operate equipment as designated by Management
• Perform additional duties at the request of the direct supervisor.

• Previous experience in a similar role or environment.
• Strong attention to detail is essential
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer experience for data entry
• Have a flexible approach to work
• Proficient level of English, proficient written, numerical and verbal skills
