Job Description

Principal Accountabilities

 

As CMM Technician, your key responsibilities will be:

 

  • Programme existing and new components onto the CMM software
  • Update programmes as required to incorporate issues highlighted in Production
  • Support Engineering / Quality functions with programming and troubleshooting
  • Train Quality technicians how to use the  CMM equipment
  • Work effectively with all team members to assist in the continuous improvement of systems and processes and ensure best practice is consistently applied
  • Ensure that all documentation is maintained in an organised and controlled manner
  • Participate in other related projects as required
  • Liaise closely with the Quality and Development Manager on all CMM issues
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of employees within the Company ensuring effective relationships are developed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

 

Experience, Training and Work Related Skills Required

Requirements for this position include a certificate / diploma in an engineering discipline equivalent together with some experience in a manufacturing environment.

 

  • Technical Qualification in Engineering
  • CAD experience would be an advantage
  • An ability to read and decipher engineering drawings
  • Excellent Organizational And Communication skills
  • Good Interpersonal Skills
  • Ability to function as a team member
