Job Description

Our client, a main construction contractor are looking to hire a Health & Safety Trainer for their Head Office in West Dublin.

The role involves the development and maintenance of training materials and programs to meet specific business objectives and educate employees on company standards and expectations

Required:

  • Effective and confident training provider, able to apply a range of training styles to deliver messages over and to assess the learning of those involved
  • 5 years’ experience of training within the construction industry
  • Strong IT skills, proficient in PowerPoint to create engaging presentation material, Excel for creating reports and MS Teams for delivering online training sessions
  • Strong Organisational Skills Including Time Management
  • Strong Communication Skills Including an Ability to Influence Other
  • Set and Achieve Performance Goals Annually in Line with Training Plans
  • An Analytical Skillset Suitable for a Training Environment
  • Experience in delivering the CITB Site Safety Plus courses
  • Experience in delivering UKATA Asbestos Awareness
  • Experience Working with a Central Learning and Development function CITB

Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety/Health and Safety Management for Construction (UK) – or equivalent
  • Train the Trainer (QQI Level 6) or equivalent
  • Applicants must be eligible to work in Europe without restrictions.
  • Tech / Grad IOSH, preferred
  • Internal Auditor Skills, preferred
  • Solas approved tutor preferred
