Job Description

NJ Downes and Company Solicitors have a vacancy for the post of Legal Secretary with a minimum of 3 years' experience preferably in a general practice for an immediate start.

Responsibilities include:

  • Scanning of post and documents and typing;
  • Formatting and preparing legal documents;
  • Liaising with clients;
  • Filing, archiving and general administrative support;
  • Diary management and maintaining calendars.

The successful applicant should have:

  • A minimum of 3 year’s legal secretary experience required preferably in a general practice;
  • Excellent people and communication skills;
  • Good computer skills IN MS Word, Excel and a good knowledge of case management;
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
