Junior Quantity Surveyor

Energoinvest  Reach Active is a contractor specialising within the Power, Construction, Multi Utility Diversions, Telecommunications, District Heating, Building Management Services and Rail Divisions. We pride ourselves in meeting our clients specific requirements with the aim of delivering each project safely, no matter how complex within expected budget and programme.

We are looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor with Civil Engineering and Utilities Experience from a Power background.
 
 
Main duties

•  Assist in the preparation of cost estimate and project budgets
• Help with cost control, monitoring, and preparing monthly CVRs.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and compare against project schedules and cost.
• Prepare and submit payment applications and invoices for work to ESB.
• Managing the subcontractor payments.
• Assist in preparing tender pricing and contract documents
• Be aware of and promote the Companies Health and Safety policies and risk management.

Key Skills

Knowledge of product and contract conditions, together with the law within the construction industry would be beneficial in this role. Would suit an ambitious high achiever, with good customer service, and excellent organisation skills.

Experience

1 to 3 years’ experience working within a similar environment.

Qualifications 

Degree in Quantity Surveying

The successful candidate must be willing to travel time to time to sites throughout Ireland but will be based at our office in Mullingar,  Remote working is an option.
