Job Description

ROLE PROFILE:
Engage and communicate with customers, landowners and householders to gain access to land and properties to allow works to be carried out. Agree access routes prior to works being carried out and record all the access routes appropriately.

 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
•    Record and document all agreed access routes 
•     Map properties, mark access routes, gates, roads etc. agreed on work maps
•     Liaise with the company’s Planners and Supervisor with all access information
•    Liaise with landowners, householders and customers to agree suitable times and dates for work
programmes
•     When applicable, notify local communities of works that will be carried out
•     Assist with complaints related to works carried out
•    Maintain excellent relationships with landowners, contractors, etc.
•     Take photos of access routes/details and share them back to Planners and Supervisor


SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
ESSENTIAL:
•    Good interpersonal and communication skills particularly in relation to dealing with third parties
•    Ability to maintain good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders with a courteous manner 
•    Flexible approach to meet customers, landowners and householders needs
•    Work as part of a team
•    Full Irish driving license 
•    Mobile Phone App skills and experience
•     Competent in the completing of all necessary paperwork required
•     Able to deliver results to a defined deadline
•     Ability to prioritise work paying attention to detail
•     A good understanding in Health and Safety practices


DESIRED:
•     Knowledge of ESB Networks
•     Previous experience in Overhead Line construction or refurbishment
•     Working experience of electrical wiring regulations and interpreting engineering line diagrams

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

The role will require you to travel to sites across Ireland with occasional overnight stays, as and when required.

Due to the nature of our works, there may be a requirement for cover out of hours works i.e., weekends and on some occasion’s nights. Within reason, you must be willing to cover out of hours works, where necessary.
