Job Description
Kinnegad Community Childcare Clg. is looking for a dedicated, responsible, enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join our team.
Qualifications and requirements for this job are:
· Minimum QQI level 5/6 qualification in Childcare
· A deep knowledge of early childhood development
· An excellent understanding of play based emergent curriculum
· The ability to apply the Aistear curriculum framework to individual planning and practice
· A love of the outdoors and nature
· Being able to work as part of a team and to be flexible within your role.
· A positive disposition.

Cairdeas Childcare Centre is a beautiful, purpose-built facility equipped with top-quality educational play equipment.
We offer various childcare options for children aged six months to twelve years.
Our centre is open from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, except on Bank Holidays. We close for three weeks during the summer and about one week at Christmas.
Situated on a one-acre site, our centre provides ample outdoor space for children's physical development. All outdoor play areas are securely fenced for safety, ensuring children have the space needed for both mind and body growth.
The outdoor area offers room for children to develop balance, coordination, and body awareness. It also fosters a lifelong habit of exercise.
Our large spaces allow for independent play, encouraging confidence, self-reliance, and resourcefulness, as children play safely at a distance from adults.
Outdoor play promotes physical activity, contributing to a healthy appetite and the development of gross motor skills.
