On behalf of our client, we are currently recruiting a Management Accountant in Dundalk.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all company reports are issued in accordance with deadlines – weekly/monthly variance reports, productivity, key cost controls, financial data
- Prepare monthly management accounts and monthly consolidated reports, detailed variance analysis and commentary on budget
- Process and maintain ledgers in Zoho books
- Providing planning and cost controlling support for all projects
- Preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Review and analysis of overhead spend and forecast of future spend
- Develop and build management dashboards and KPI reports in Zoho books as the business expands and develops
- Preparation and filing of VAT returns
- Ad-hoc process improvements and systems projects
Skills required:
- Qualified accountant with 3+ years industry experience will be considered
- Experience in using an ERP/ accounts software package preferably Zoho Books
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Must be able to work effectively both as part of a team and individually.
- Competent in IT, MS Office including medium to advanced Excel ability with strong analytical capability.
- Ability to work on their own initiative with a focus on process and system improvements
