Technical Operator

Our client, A company specialising in IT asset disposition for businesses and data centres, requires a technical operator to join their busy team. Experience working within a (technical) service-based organisation, where client requirements are key drivers. Experience handling IT equipment (especially within asset recovery processes) would be a noted benefit.

EXPERIENCE:

• Adaptable / Transferrable skills to translate into asset recovery processes.
• Familiar with and able to process generic data-centre and cloud equipment, including servers, switches, and basic networking equipment.
• Ability to engage as local mentor for “new-starts”.
• Local representative for change management – systems, hardware and compliance requirements.
• Support ITAD Coordinator (Not site-based) in respect of material auditing and progression.
• An interest in (new) technology & familiarity with IT equipment and IT components are a noted benefit.
• Good IT skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate excellent attention to detail, must be self-motivated, flexible and adaptable.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
