Job Description
Our client, a major Mechanical / Electrical contractor are looking to hire a Site Engineer to join their Geo Surveying Department for projects based in Dublin/Kildare.
Duties:
- Perform detailed field and office surveying work (Survey Control / Setting Out / As Builts etc)
- Prepare and analyse data for construction accuracy.
- Utilise modern survey methods and survey devices.
- Work with software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks.
- Attend Daily/Weekly Meetings with Client and Contractors to discuss project progress and deliver reports.
- Any other duties as required by the contractor.
Skills and Requirements
- Minimum (Degree in Surveying, Geomatics or Engineering) or relevant experience
- Demonstrable levels of technical knowledge with practical application
- Understand scopes of work and project requirements
- A high degree of computer literacy and familiarity with BIM workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work as part of a team and on their own initiative with excellent communication skills.
- Possess a full Irish or EU driving license.
