Are you an organised, friendly, and motivated individual with a passion for supporting others in a meaningful work environment? We’re currently seeking a dedicated Administration Assistant to join our counselling service office in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

About the Role:

As the first point of contact for our clients and professionals, the Administration Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our counselling service. This is a varied and rewarding position that combines office administration with compassionate client support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a professional and confidential environment
  • Answering phone calls and responding to emails in a professional and empathetic and confidential manner.
  • Scheduling appointments and managing the booking system
  • Greeting clients and providing a warm, confidential front-of-house service
  • General office duties such as data entry, filing, invoicing, and stock management
  • Supporting the counselling team with administrative tasks as needed

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • A friendly, approachable, and discreet manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
  • Experience in an administrative role (previous experience in a healthcare or counselling environment is a plus, but not essential)
