Electrical Supervisor - Longford

My client is a growing Electrical & Mechanical Engineering group with a presence across the country working on industrial and pharma construction projects. They are currently recruiting for an Electrical Supervisor for an ongoing project in Longford and to join a team in the region for further projects in the Midlands / North West.

Ideally you will be based in the North Midlands, come from an Electrical Trade background with at least 3-5yrs in a similar role leading Electrical Trades teams 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Day to day site management of Electrical Trades and Sub Contractors
• Manage resources across multiple projects when required
• Ensure all staff are adhering to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Sustainability standards.
• Collaborate on onsite designs and procure key packages, equipment and long lead items
• Track against budgets & programmes, track and issue variations in cooperation with PM and QS, and flag any issues for inclusion in progress claims.
• Site walkdowns to conduct quality checks, FAT/SAT, commissioning, and compliance with requirements.
• Oversee project close-out, including as-built documentation and handover.
• Liaise with stakeholders, consultants, and the project team.

Essential Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills Experience:

• Electrical trade Qualification with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent planning, organisational, training, teamwork & problem resolution
• Excellent literacy, numeric and IT skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
• Full Clean driving licence.
