We are currently seeking a motivated and compassionate Staff Grade Psychologist to join our clients team. The role is in Primary Care- Child Services - Wait List Initiative in Galway and is perfect for a qualified psychologist who is looking to build on their experience and deepen their clinical skills. Please note, this is a 1 year contract.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver psychological assessments, formulations, and evidence-based interventions to a diverse client group.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic and person-centred care.
  • Participate in the development of individualized care plans and risk management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with legal and professional standards.
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision and reflective practice.
  • Contribute to service evaluations, team meetings, and clinical discussions.

Essential Criteria:

  • Candidates must complete the eligibility requirements set forth by The Psychological Society of Ireland and possess a recognized post-graduate degree in psychology.
  • A postgraduate qualification in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.
  • Full registration with Psychological Society of Ireland.
  • At least 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience.
  • A commitment to evidence-based practice, ethical standards, and professional development.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
