Who We Are
Novelplast Teoranta is Ireland’s leading PET plastics recycling company, dedicated to making plastics truly sustainable for future generations. Based in Gibbstown, Navan, Co. Meath, Novelplast was founded in 2017 and began full operations in 2019. Our mission is to deliver circular solutions for the plastics industry through innovation, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.
What We Do
We specialise in the mechanical recycling of both post-industrial and post-consumer PET feedstocks — including bottles, films, trays, flakes, fines, and low-grade polyester residues — and transform them into high-quality recycled PET (rPET) resin pellets. Using proprietary technology, we can recycle materials that traditional systems often reject, giving them renewed life as sustainable raw materials for the sheet, fiber, strapping, and packaging industries.
Our Impact
Diverting approximately 25,000 tonnes of plastic from landfill each year
Certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards for quality and environmental management
Supported by leading sustainability investors to accelerate growth and international expansion
Partnering in major R&D projects focused on advanced recycling and closed-loop solutions
Targeting the recycling of 100,000 tonnes of PET annually by 2029
Our Culture
At Novelplast, we believe in innovation with purpose. Our people are driven by a shared commitment to sustainability, excellence, and continuous improvement. As we expand, we offer exciting opportunities to grow with a company at the forefront of green industry — from engineering and R&D to operations, sustainability, and supply chain.
